International Cricket Council confirms Bangladesh to host T20 World Cup 2014

There have been a lot of confusions regarding whether Bangladesh will be the hosts of T20 world Cup 2014 or not. This misunderstandings are finally over and it is now confirm that that Bangladesh will be the sole host for this tournament. The decision was made certain during the Annual General meeting for ICC last week  where the BCB president Nazmul Hasan was present. In this meeting, the president was able to convince ICC that the venues will be fully ready before the start of the World Cup.

The T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh this year. We have been able to convince ICC that we will hand over the venues by the start of the tournament, said Nizamuddin Chaudhur he said that ICC is pleased with our preparations, we will be ready to organize everything properly for this world cup.

The other issue that was to be discussed in the meeting was about the match fixing controversy. It is heard that this report is still not prepared by the Anti Corruption and security Unit of ICC and this all have to wait a little while longer.

On the other hand, ICC is not concerned about the election of Bangladesh Cricket Board either. A source have stated that, ICC(International Cricket Council) is not thinking about the problems that seemed to have arose in the last few weeks. In fact, ICC(International Cricket Council) have no restrictions if the election is done using the local policy.
